i do agree with you.
i did expect something different, but i loved the way it was directed. compared to the other movies, it was amazing.
and yes i read the books. i know, it was nothing like it. :l
movies are always like that though, which is sad.
the only thing that got me really upset, was that there was so much flirtation between ron and hermione, which isn't even slightly mentioned in the book.
